Tiger Triumph: Roaring Together in Defense - A Joint Exercise

India and the United States recently joined forces for a unique tri-service exercise focused on humanitarian aid and disaster relief (HADR). The event, dubbed 'Tiger Triumph-24', took place on the shores of Kakinada Beach in Andhra Pradesh, showcasing collaborative efforts in tackling crises.

Boosting preparedness for natural disasters and fostering cooperation between Indian and US forces, this joint endeavor marks a pivotal step in their ongoing partnership.

The exercise significantly enhanced interoperability for conducting Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations, refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure swift and seamless coordination. Notable participants included INS Jalashwa and USS Somerset, alongside other vessels like USS Halsey, INS Airavat, and INS Kesari.

Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), being a consensus-building aspect, holds the potential to bolster India's relations with neighboring countries. It serves as a catalyst for rejuvenating regional cooperation, whether through platforms like SAARC, BIMSTEC, or other forums.
